project/build-well sort of.95' k1500 silverado engine?

Hey Guys,
My grandson and i are struggling with a few things and hopeing yawl might be able to clear up some questions. So i've had a 1973 k20 that has pretty much given me it's all over the years and my grandson approached me about doing a 4x4 crawler. I won a 1995 chevy silverado k1500 w/z71 package in a poker game two weeks later so i said oh heck yeh! But,(heres where i turn red with embarrasment)i am not sure of the engine size? The dude i won the truck from lives in oregon and the fitting job(union)were both on is finished.I know it's a TBI and am hopeing 350 w/5.7 L? Can anyone shed some light on this? Also, what mods are available to me on the cheap,to get max.HP?
Thanks Folks,HappyThanksgiv'n!

Look behind the drivers side head on the flange where the trans bolts up. Make your grandson do it,lol. There should be a series of numbers and a 5.7L or a 5.0 L. Not sure if you are talking about combining the two vehicles together or what ,but the TBI setup would be the way to go for rock climbing IMO. For a rock climber, the 5.0 L would be fine. Just gear accordingly.
