Hello

I have been trying to start a project journal with no success. When i go to log in on the project journal webpage, type in username and password it does nothing just the same page with no links to start my own page. I had pm'ed a couple of people they said that it might be that I have to have a certain amount of posts before you can start one, lol half saying that its been so long they dont even remember. Is this true? If so how many posts do i have to have? I would love to start my journal to keep tabs on my build! any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

I don't really remember how to start one (I've had mine for a long time...), but I do recall that there isn't a "waiting period" or anything like that before you can start one. I'll see what I can dig up, though.

Delete your cookies, and then try again.

Sorry i should have mentioned it but i have deleted my cookies and cleared my cache. Didnt help any thanks

It took me to the project journal link, typed my username in and password and still keeps me at the original project journal page with nothing to start my own journal. I have no idea what the problem is, Thanks for your help in getting this straightened out.

Thanks for your help. When i go through your link that you sent it takes me to my project journal page but there is no "ADD ENTRY" button? But when i try to go through the links on HOTRODDERS page it still will not let me go to my project journal page? It does the same as before. I have not had any problems on other websites or surfing on the net. I was wondering if it's my computer? any help would be appreciated Thanks

Hmmmm...

I was able to login as you, which suggests it may be on your end, but still can't be sure.

How exactly did you clear your cookies? Through the "Log out" link on the board, or through your browser?

I cleared through my browser but will try through the sites log out. Im lost as to where to go from here... thanks

I loged out and log back in and tried, still nothing...

Then, logout from the board via the "Log Out" link at the top of the page.

Then, go back to the journal, login, and let me know if it works for you.

I did that and still nothing. How i cleared my cookies? Went to START on desktop, to settings, to control panel, to Internet settings, Then deleted all cookies in the temporary internet files folder, Then deleted all files in the temporary internet files folder which aslo deleted the offline content stored locally, then deleted the history of all websites visited is that the same as going through the browser?

FINALLY.... You rock, I went and logged on through yahoo and IT WORKS!!!! i dont know why i cant use aol.... But anyhow Thanks for all the help Jon i appreciate it. I guess it took someone that auctually knows a thing or two about these computers thanks again jon
