Hmmmm! I got Gieco but I learn never tell them any more then they need to know. I worked a short time for Progressive. and it all the same junk. being read from a computer program. when you get your Quote then it goes to the inspection department where they double check all the info and depending on your state laws what you were quoted may change. Example if they find you forgot a ticket you got or you have a non working car showing on the DMV computer thing could change depending on you state laws. In Calif if you do not fill out a non operation form they keep charging you the fee. even if you not use it. and if you ever get the car running you have to pay all the back fee or scrap it out or sell it out of state.
It the state laws that make up most of the rules Gieco must folllow it how they decide to charge you that different from one company to the other.
