Post proper stud installation...?

whats the proper way to install head studs and main studs...?
I've heard different things.....whats right?

use manufacturers recommended lube and finger tight in the block on main studs, use recommended sealer(I use teflon paste) and finger tight in deck on head studs.(For Chevys)

Thanks...If you pull a head, should re-install the studs...? or will they stay sealed?

I clean and then red loctite the studs once they are bottomed finger tight. All aircraft engines are assembled in this fashion so the stud will not rotate on disassembly.
