Flathead....what size is your polebarn. By the looks of it I'm guessing 60' long. BTW, nice '55.

Pole Barn

Kevin,

Yes, it does look like a pole barn, but actually it's a 40 x 60 Metal shop that is 14 ft. to the eves. It has 20 x 14 ft roll up doors on either end. For rough storage I have a 40 x 70 ft pole barn about 50 ft from the shop. A couple of weeks ago I bought a 40 ft van that a friend had with all wooden floors and sides that had been used as a portable office by a plumbing contractor and was wired for lights and tools. I've been saving projects for about 35 yrs and now it's my time.

Jim

Flathead....lets see some pics of the rest! I just wish I had built my garage bigger. Although I am going to add to it this Spring. But the wife has plans for that area as I am building it for her. She wants to start raising flowers so it is going to be a very well lit addition. I am going to plan on adding a header at the rear of of the existing garage though JUST IN CASE her idea does not pan out. And if that is the case I can throw another door in there and take over the back. So when I build it, it will also have a little taller ceilings for that future hoist.

Here is a pic of my "garage", it's not done yet but it's getting close. Mostly vdubs inside but there is my corvette and my 55 Chevy 2 door post in there also. 3000 square feet on the main level and 1200 upstairs. Room for about 18 cars.
