wow dubie! the flames came out awesome!!! I believe that you were the guy using john deere blitz black as the basecoat right?
lookin' sweet Keep 'em comin guys, we have like 20,000 members on the board and probly around 800 active ones. So if everyone posts a pic of their garage we should even beat "no topic" Mike |

Actually I was gonna use John Deere but ended up finishing it off with Endura suede black. Its a paint used in the oil industry on vehicles because of it's chemical resistance and durability. Thanks for the compliment
The garage I hope to get is only 22 x 20 but it beats what I have right now. The house has been all but condemmed so it looks like it will seel off really cheap |

Nice garages but what are you guys taking about? A messy garage? I have to climb over stuff to walk through mine. I built mine, or rather moved and rebuilt it. My brother-in-law has his own heavy equipment business and decided he needed a pole barn to keep his big equipment in. He said I could have the old garage if I tear it down. So I did. We loaded it on his flatbed and hauled it to my place where my other brother-in-laws and I rebuilt it. Okay, I had help. It's to hard to put up rafters by yourself. I'll get a pic later. Have to go now.

Hi - this is the first post I looked at since I joined the forum. Thanks for making me want to cry out of jealousy. I can barely get in my car when it's in the garage (single car-I have a condo). Maybe I could sell my place, buy a big garage and live in it!

Garage Addition
Last summers project was to build a garage addition on to the back of my existing garage. I opened up a 12 foot hole in the old garage back wall and put in a new header. My son, his friend, and myself built it ourselves. I am keeping the back of the new garage look the same as our deck off the back of the house, hence the nice windows. Lots of natural light and lots of man made light with 10 flourescents. This summers project was to get the interior looking good with the drywall, 18 gallons of mud, and some paint. Now I have to finish some closets and hide any mess.
Since the pics are too big to post here you will have to click on my car and go to the album to see the pics. I certainly don't have all the tools to fill it up like a lot of the garages, but I am just happy to have a big area to now work on my baby. |
