Theres an E-mail for this guy at the bottom of this page I posted, Maybe he can steer you to someone, or a car club?

The Old North American cars of the Netherlands

Wezz! even with the older European cars , the Netherlands Mechanics can show you how! or come over for a few bucks to see how your doing and give you a hand! mechanics in your area must be well trained for all vehicles?

Any way: The 7.8s should be ok!!! Cut a chop stick to 7.8 and put it where the push rod goes or something!

You didn't change your cam bearings so a little wear will add some slack to the chain, the more wear a little more slack! post a picture of your chain and the slack you have!

Jester

Other than a manufacturing defect in the timing set or a stack up of tolerances on the block, about the only way to get slack in a new timing set/chain is if the block main bores were bored and honed. This moves the cam and crank closer together. If that has been done, there are undersized timing sets (0.005" and 0.010" undersize are commonly available) to compensate for the line boring. One example: Cloyes p/n 9-3100-10

One way to estimate how much slack is in the timing chain is described here. I don't know if it'll help or not w/the language barrier...

10 + 50 shipping for a 3oz. part. 60 dollars? How much did it cost to ship your cam kit? cant you order it at a local parts store? its made in china LOL! Have some one you know over here mail it to you? When you order your push rods see if they can ship the tool with them?
