It will spray single stage just as good as any paint. I have used mine for numerous small projects with PPG Concept and it does a slick job. Make sure that you get the HVLP version of the purple gun, HF has two. The one you want is stock #43430.

Don't know if you guys know this. If you register with Harbor Freight online or fill out one of their forms at their stores, you will get emails once or twice a week with discount coupons to use at their stores. I currently have one that gives me $5 off a purchase of $35.
On another cost saving point, Harbor Freight stores honor the online or mailed catalog prices at their stores. Just print out a current online ad for one of their items and they will sell at that cost. I've done it a number of times.

Didn't know about the e-mail deal,Thanks.
I use the Internet price change a LOT. Hehehe.
I picked up the bead roller set for $89.00 using the net price at the local store.
They also have 2 web sites.
hf.com and hfusa.com. Check both before buying.

I loves my purple gun.

I bought about 5 of them the day after for 9.99 a piece and 3 detail purples. I've been using the large one right now for spraying my mp170 primer and love it. I keep em clean and they work really great. Not sure why I bought so many but You know how it is when you go into that place.... . Any way mine has done real well for me.

The email address that sends the harborfreight coupons is

mktdelano@promo.harborfreight.com

I'd attach one of my current emails, but they have a few rules such as the coupons are not transferable. Any, signup. Some coupons I've received are for $5 off $50, $10 off $100, 10% off your entire purchase, or 20% off one item.

Good luck

Hey... that's not a bad deal, get a nozzle set for $30 to use on a gun that you paid $40 for. LOL

I have never heard of the 43430 being that cheap, are you sure it's the right one?
