I don't believe there were ever 4" inlet/outlet pipe versions, they used to be listed also by case size(the fiberglass packed area), which was 4".

yeh.... they were really cool! 3" header collector for the header muffler version, 4" body all the way to a turn down. 35 - 40 inch long with a hanger bracket on the top side. ( you could put your arm into the thing!!! )

I have looked for years for old school hornies...and they were definitely 4" after the collector flange and all the way back. I found one set of NOS ones and the guy wanted $500 firm...I had to pass on the price because I was going to hack them up for my side pipes. Any way nothing sounds as good a the old hornies...the closet you will get to the sound is 3 1/2" hooker header side pipes. I recently made a set of inserts mufflers for my 4 1/2" side pipes. I used 3" cherry bombs and it sounds pretty good.

Good luck...

Sorry about that, those were just a few years before my time.

If it's too loud, you're too old. (I'm certified to make this statement)

I got them for my son to put on his pickup he is building up right now. I was lucky to be the first caller because I went to get them and the guy said he had about 15 calls on them after mine. Sorry but they are going to be used.
