Looks like I've been missing out on the value of visiting truck stops!
Next time I see one, I'm goin' in, baby! Alan 54 Chevy Pickup |

Watch out for "Lot Lizards" ! I know you know what they are, Dont ya? Lot lizards are those girls that climb all over your truck, banging on the door and asking if you need a girlfriend for tha night.....Jay

You're all wrong.....
If memory serves, it used to be all the rage in the 70's to install lights in the back seat between the rear side window and the back window at just above eye level. They were activated by a switch on or under the dash. Some people used red bulbs, some blue, some purple. Here in the 'Peg they were illegal to use and the cops would give you a ticket for having them on (don't see why
).Maybe these were called something else down south, but that's what they were up here in the GWN. Chickie. |

Hi Im all the way in nz but have just installes heaps (6) blue l.e.d . lights into the interior of my car when I installed my chrome sounds. They look great when reflecting against chrome and reflective surfaces. I made sure that they arn't directly able to be seen but reflect off the components I was wanting to accentuate. My husband manages an auto parts store which services many boy racer "jappa" drivers, and I got them from him. You would be surprised how a rod takes to things like this which would look tacky on a normal car, i think because you are tending to build in a flamboyant style when you are a rodder anyway.

dstorie;
I'm afraid real "sex lights" are gone forever. The soft purple 2" glass lens with the chrome housing, and swivel mounting bracket, are gone forever. Anyone displaying these bad boys in the corners of their windshield in the 60's, let the world know you were looking for action, and gettin' it, too. JC Whitney sells a very similar light "Purple Decorative Egg Light", SKU # 81ZX0604A, for $7.99 each. They are illegal to display in your windshield in all of Canada and most of the U.S., but you gotta have em! kitkar
