Put a shift kit in and now wont go into gear?

I dont have any left over parts? It dosent mak any noise. AFTER INSTALLING. I tried to reverse my nova out of the garage. But it would nt move so i back it up by physical labor and tried to then put it in drive and 1st gear and both did nothin? I have good fluid levels and all

Turbo 350 trans, Shift kit was a stage two shift from b m improver. Tranny was rebuilt a awhile back. IT must have to do with something like linkage?

Sounds like you didn't get the S-link connected, the part that connects the linkage to the manual valve, when you put the valvebody up against the case and seperator plate.

@eric i am preety sure that i got the s hook in.. I had to get the s hook to go in before i bolted the valve body up? I finally got the tranny not leak from the pan and now i am going to have to pull the pan off again. this sucks.

I got it to go in gear. But it seems to lock 2nd in better. But third dosent feel very strong. has nayone else h]used the b m shift improver stage two street strip?
