i just recent rebuild a 305 and was going to put the rochester q jet back on and i dont know how to can someone tell me step by step on how to install it
If you could rebuild the engine then im sure you can bolt a carb on top of it just make sure you dont drop anything into the manifold. Theres been a few threads lately about that. Apparently some people think that a nut will pass through the engine and come out the tail pipe! Hahaha. :nono:
Is this a CCC computer controlled Q-jet? If so, you need to get a factory service manual and follow the adjustment instructions EXACTLY. This system runs great if it's adjusted properly, but most people won't take the time so they run like crap.
