putting togiver my 383 chevy.

hi every one , i have got all my parts now and ready to start my engine build.

this is a part list of the gear that i have, the block is a 87 350 roller block , two bolt mains
.30 over decked e.c.t , arp studs , reworked moroso std oil pump with anticavitiation grooves , have cleaned up rear main cap where the oil pump bolts too.

streamlined filter mount area and passage to filter and exits.
cleaned and opened up areas that drain the oil back to crank case.
fitted brass standpipes in valley floor.ground down the two large holes at the front of the block , now oil retune through front and rear of block.

have a scat 383 strocker kit with 3.75 forged crank , scat premium 6" rods with 7/16 bolts.
pistons are probe forged sprotman race series with 12.80cc dish , moly ring set.
heads are air flow research 195cc with 65cc chambers with 2.050 intake valve and 1.6 ex valve.

cam is comp cam xr282hr-10 with 510/520 lift and 110 lobe sep.

comp cam billet double roller timing set.
comp cam full roller rockers , 1.6 ultra gold arc.

edlebrock rpm airgap manafold with one inch carb spacer.
carb is Aed performance 750 doulble pumper carb.

perfromance oil pan.

powerfire ignition system.

8" powerforce damper.

not sure what hp will be but would hope for 480+ at flywheel.

other than the cam sounds great.The cam is good,just not much for a stout 383.It should make great mid range power. Enjoy all the assemblies and fittings. Post some pictures when its done.
