Can you sew through pvc foam board?

Yes, no problem. In fact it works very well, and is as easy on the needle as waterproof panel board, and easier on the needle than plywood.

When you do your sewing, sew slow, don't try to rush it. It's also a good idea to use larger stitches, like 5 or 6 to an inch.
