Q jet coming home

I gave up on that old q jet from the 1980 and sent it to Cliff's high perf. he'd ask if I needed help too send it in to him so I did, it took him less than 4 hrs after he called to find out what it was going on to tell me it was done. Of course it was around a new carb price to fix it, but it's running good he said. I put the air bleeds in wrong and the idle tubes too.

sometimes and extra pair of eyes can do the trick.
Have you tested the secondaries yet?

I'm waiting for it to arrive from Ohio, Cliff Ruggles repaired it for me, he was kind enough to do a rush job on it, because I bought all the parts through him. $264.00 later he said I'll enjoy it now. Yes I am anxious to run it. As some of you may remember I couldn't get it to run at curb idle, only high idle ran good.

$264 isn't a bad price to have the man himself lay his hands on it if you ask me.

Go to on the internet: cliffshighperformance.com, he has a place there to order parts and kits.
if you call them they send what you will need, they have a forum there too, Cliff tries to man it himself.
There is a phone number and address.
But remember he helped me out because I replaced everything in my carb, even idle tubes and bleeds all bought from him even the rebuild kit and still couldn't get it running.
