q-jet rebuild kit

I have an old quadrajet that seems in good shape(clean and no slop in the throttle shafts) that I might run on my sbc, but I think I should rebuild it first since it has been laying around for years. I went to the local speed shop and they said they would have it in a day or so, well a week later still nothing, they say their having problems getting more rebuild kits. I was just wondering if there are any online companies that sells rebuild kits, or would a store like NAPA or Pepboys carry something like that?
Any help would be great!

Usually you can take the carbs list number and walk into any parts store and get the kit, this helps to assure you got the correct kit.

The best rebuild kits use to come from Track Auto here, number really did'nt matter, the kit came with every gasket and even came with a float for $17.00!

Havent seen a kit that even compares to it since trak auto went under.

Try here http://www.carbs.net/quadrajet.asp or
I get mine from a guy in England, Niehoff CK-1045 or Hygrade
1569.Contain everything but the float. These are computer controlled carb kits.Summit also carries them from Edelbrock but they are not so complete. http://www.bluestreak.ca/english is Hygrade, look under Engine.
