Post Q jet on a torker- how to make devorced choke work?

like the title says. i have the square to spread boar adaptor and it puts the devorced choke out of reach. the mannie seems to have the prvisions for it though. is there an aftermarket, longer rod or do i need to fab something. or can i get a manual choke kit for a q-jet?

You can do all that you have mentioned, I suggest you buy a universal manual choke kit and go from there. It's the easiest way unless you must have an electric choke, if so make up a connecting rod and adapt away.

You could try this site. They might have a rod that will fit. They carry a lot of parts for just about any carb.

i really prefer the devorced choke over an electric. i've always had good luck with them. if i can't adapt a longer rod i will go the rout of the manual choke.
