qjet carb fuel leak

pulled my 73 vette air cleaner and the left side of the primary is leaking fuel but not the right side; any idea on possible causes? thanks

I would start with checking the float level. Why one side, not the other? Dunno, 'less it's sitting on an angle. I can't think of a logical reason for this to happen, otherwise.

Is this w/engine running?
