Qjet idols high even after 10 min?

I Have A 90 Silverado, Made It From Tbi To Carburetor, Changed Intake, Dist, and Carb. (carb Now A Qjet 4 Barrel) Had It Running Just Fine ,while I Was Twiken It

1. I Noticed 4th Barrels Didn't Open During Wide Open Throttle(whats Wrong?)

2. After Running It For Around 10min Or So, I Hit The Throttle And Id Stayed Idling High. Re Adjusted Choke But Still Idols High, But Noticed When I Pushed Down The Linkage Near The Choke The Part That Has A "y" On It I Noticed It Idled Perfect, But Once It Hit The Gas Again It Idled High Again. What Can It Be?

what type choke, electric or one that heats up by the intake crossover? The choke has to open all the way up to keep it off fast idle cam and the secondary's cannot open up unless choke is wide open. That's to the best of my memory. I have taken wire and wired them (choke) wide open and used them in summer this way.
Why would you want to get away from TBI?
