We have a new cruise spot at the Sheffield Village Ohio Restaurant. Wednesday night is Bike night. My wife and I went out for a cruise early in the afternoon and stopped by Quaker Steak & Lube around 4:30 and stayed 3hours looking at the bikes and muscle cars and listening to the band. By The time we left there must have been 1200 bikes in the lot and more coming. Wednesday will be bike night and a car cruise it being planned for friday or Saturday this summer.
We go to the Quaker Steak over on Polaris Parkway near Columbus...They have Bike Night on Wednesdays, and Cruise-ins on Sundays(I think its Sunday). During GoodGuys Columbus they always have a Cruise-in after the show closes for the night on Friday,Saturday and Sunday. We usually go to GoodGuys, hit Quaker Steak for a Burger and Coke and then head to Dick Clark's on 23 for the cruising...
Later,
WEIMER
1200 bikes on a bike night! SC only gets those kinda numbers at Myrtle Beach run <img src="graemlins/drunk.gif" border="0" alt="[drunk]" /> Yes, I live in the state and don't remember how to spell it, I think thats it.
Sheffield is between Avon and Lorain up near the lake. Right at the rt254 and I90 interchange. Bass Ford is right across the road-on rt254 just before the rt301 intersection. They put the word out that they{Quaker Steak & Lube} wanted to have a big opening blowout with a band and fill up the parking lot and they did to overflowing on to the street before 8pm. Lots of great looking bikes, a totally chrome pan head, real old 45's and Brand new stuff plus show bikes and drag bike too. A few Metrics and even mini bikes. I've been there once this season so that should do it for me, that was one BIG traffic jam. I'll go on the car cruise nights and see what they pull in.
