Question about 1932 Ford Deuce. Opinions appreciated!!

My husband has been presented with the opportunity to purchase a 1932 Ford Deuce. We are going to look at the car tomorrow but as of now are not sure if the body is steel or fiberglass which we know makes a big difference in price (My husband is suspecting Fiberglas due to the look of the mirrors but doesn't know). He did speak to an appraiser today but only over the phone. This is our first venture into the world of hotrod/classic cars so any expertise would be greatly appreciated!!

experienced mechanic.

It looks good on the outside and the interior. Now it's time to get it up on a hoist and have some one experienced go over it . If it is from a kit, if you know the manufacturer google for more info. any complaints or problems, I thought I wanted a fiberglass 34 coupe a few years ago but after I saw one with 20 K miles problems with door fit and cracks were showing up. I decided not to order the kit. Speed way has a pretty good reputation for their stuff. and they have been in business a long long time.

I am thinking it is glass. I would ditch the hood scoop and I am wondering what sort of engine is in it. Does look like a good driver though and it has a 4 bar front suspension which is a plus.
Probably can buy it for less that buying all the parts and then you can do some mods to make it your own.

One important question to ask is if it's been registered to drive legally on the road. If not that can be a real pain to get thru.
