Question about 1948 Ford Pickup Fenders

i got a 1948 ford pickup. i was wondering if the front fenders to an F-6 were the same size as an F-1 besides the wheel wells. my fenders are in pretty rough shape so i was going to order two new ones but no one sells them for an F-6, only for F-1 and F-2. also if anyone knows how to tell the difference between the years '48-'50 please let me know. thanks for any info.

cant tell ya about the 48's, but on 47's the wheelwells were the only diff on my 3ton grain truck that I made into a 1ton flatbead. I measure several & the wheelwells was the only thing I could find different between a 1/2ton & my 3ton.........joe
