question about carb base gaskets

ok,all 4 barrel carbs have 4 holes, but some intakes have 4 holes, some 2 oblong holes ,and some 1 big hole,so what is the proper base gasket to use,on say an intake with the 2 oblong holes,or does it make any difference?

question about carb base gaskets

make them , use cardboard from a shoe box type solid card board .
that white piece in gasket kits works well .
a hobby knife to cut out , and hole punches for the bolt holes .
