Question for BarryK, MartinSR or??
Am I correct in assuming that even though the catalyst may not have hardened if it has set around for awhile. I have left over catalyst for my k36 primer that I hate to throw away unless it is not safe to use. Thanks for advising me. David Bodily

I too have used hardeners that were a year or more old with no noticeable effects. I have read that some people put in inert gas in the can to keep it longer, don't know if it is worth the trouble or not, as I never tried it not having gas bottles yet. I just keep the cans sealed and out of cold weather. If I am in doubt, I'll mix up a small amount of the product at the mix ratio and leave it set overnight and check to see if the next day it has hardened through.
