A question on Instrument wiring

Just started doing some rewiring under the dash, and on the Instrument cluster I see some of the lights have 2 wires coming from them, and some have only one. Are the ones with two wires a separate way to ground? I also notice the ones with only one wire have some silver metal on the clips, which makes sense as to why the ones with two wires do not; a way to ground.

Chances are, the lights with 2 wires are your oil pressure light, and your generator light. These lights need one lead to be hooked to the accessory side of your ignition switch, and the other lead to the oil pressure sender, (light type) and voltage regulator or if you are running an alternator, your exciter wire.

later, mikey
