A lot depends on your wallet and your abilities with a wrench and welding torch. There’s not a lot of original tin out there and the repro stuff is very expensive. Fiberglass is an alternative. Myself, I use fiberglass for the body and metal for the rest. Another consideration is power. In most magazine Rods I’ve seen, use Chevy/GM power, but I want a Ford in my Ford. For the last 10 year Ford is getting back the game and has some goodies for use gearheads. That only my opinion, of course. There’s a lot of retiring Mustang GT 5.0’s and tired T-Bird out there. Just a thought.
