Question regarding rim size

Hey guys, I have a quick question? I have a 67 El Camino and I want to put American Racing TT-2 rims on the car. I want 17x8 on the front and 17x9 on the rear. What off-set and backspace do I go with? I also want to put on large front disc brakes at a later date. Any suggestions?

64-67 should accept the same sizes. There's some Info here>> http://www.chevellestuff.com/tech/tire_wheel.htm 66-67 would have more outside fender clearance as the 64-65 outer fender lip is lower.
Wheel Offset vs. Backspacing http://www.chevellestuff.com/tech/wheel_offset.htm
