Questions About Big Block Chevys

Would the piston hit the valve or the head while the motor is running with a 10.2 inch deck height a 4 inch stroke and a six. 13 five inch rod and flat top piston the cam has 292 advance duration on exhaust and intake with five fifty lift on the cam

for a tall deck just get standard pistons with a 6.535 rod.

Not only will your pistons not hit the head. They will not even come to the top of the cylinder. With a 6.135 rod you will be .400 down in the bore. No compression.

I wanted to go with the bigger rod but i was worried about the piston hitting the head and i forgot to say that im gonna run a 871 blower with this motor thats the reason for the flat top pistons
