You've got to keep in mind the age of the current springs AND whatever changes you have already made (suspension and all) and then realize that there is no way to answer your question for sure. You MUST take a good look and see what another inch or so would do to driveshaft clearance (as Deuce mentioned) and tire clearance (at the fender and inside the well). Also, how hard are you going to be driving your beastie? Hard high-horsepower launches will require more space for movement than the average street dirving. Just drop a few sandbags into the trunk until the bumper drops 1," take a good look at clearances and then guess how much more space you would still need under the pressures of your driving style.
