Henry took the words right out of my mouth.

It's very simple..... If you don't like what is going on here then there are dozens if not hundreds of other automotive sites that might suit your fancy. Feel free to check them out.

Ah yes, another Street Beast/Classic Motor Carriage/Fiberfab employee logging on under a false name trying to be someone and something he is not.

When are you idiots going to learn that we are NOT stupid. Curt Scott does not live in MIAMI or work for StreetBeast. You guys are so stupid..... you don't understand that your IP address gives you away and YOURS IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS STREETBEASTOPSDUDE AND GRUMPACOBRA. Not only that, your spelling is just as atrocious.

I guess when it comes to StreetBeast a quote from "Forest Gump" fits best,

As I said in the StreetBeast rod kit thread:

If you read the CurtScott post, the spelling and grammar seem to be exactly the same as SBOptsman's - amazingly poor taste.

Wow! I'm going to shoot an email to the "real" Curt Scott. Can't believe those guys are impersonating him.

Streetbeast folks: I doubt you guys have deeper pockets than The Learning Channel, who also failed with their legal threats. You want to sue me, sue me. You want to threaten to sue me, threaten to sue me. We're not backing down.

JGK95 -- Got your PM. I should clarify: this has little or nothing to do with Chinese manufacturing. I myself use plenty of Chinese-manufactured goods every day. It's about the right to speak our minds freely, because this is America, not China. There are plenty of compliments for good businesses on this board, and plenty of business referrals that happen here.

FYI, I'm 31 years old. So, I'm only really a "kid" at heart .

and I'm 38, but I'll always be referred to as "Our baby" by my parents.

You're younger than me, thus the reference. It's only said with appreciation. Growing up, I was commonly referred to as ********! or *********! but then I realized they were talking about my older brother.

JGK...I find that reference offensive and would appreciate it if you would delete it.

When you dish it out as frequently as Jon does, you better be able to take it when dealt back. You know, what's good for the goose is good for the gander etc.
Are you familiar with the term "Passive Aggressive?

Play with fire sooner or later Y'all get burned.

No Nerves hit .I think any one around here knows me enuf that if I got somthing to say on target or off the wall I'll say it.

I'm Not prejudice !
I hate everyone equally.

Personally I think Jon has more going on then most would understand.
Let the sleeping dog sleep.

Oops! too late.

Bryan don't let the "fat guy" persona fool ya.

This old fat boy can still jump if need be.

Now I guess I will have to go read the street beast thread I have been avoiding

If I may...

If there is one thing that makes me come back to this site, its the spirit of fairness and free speech. I like to think its what my dad and uncles fought for back when they were teens.

There isn't much left of that in this world, its become acceptable to take the money and forget the honesty...no matter what the consequences.

Every person involved with this website does it gratis, there's no paycheck...no fancy advertising. Try and find another place like it on the internet!

There is a mountain of information to be garnered here and I like to think that one day some young man will be searching back into the archives with his 100 Terabyte supercooled IBM/Apple computer and reading about what guys were doing to cars back in the 20th century.

We are all allowed the right to speak our mind here and I can certainly understand why JGK95 think something stinks in Denmark, why not...everyone else is on the take right? This is how democracy is supposed to work and everyone on this sites moderator board knows what that means;

You can pry my right to free speech from my cold dead hands...I dare ya!

Whoever the hell you are...do the math. 70,000 members, largest hot-rodding site on the web. I know I'd willingly do whatever I could to help Jon financially, and Im sure so would many others. 5 dollars per person goes a long way.

Besides that, money has nothing to do with this. Jon seems to be one of a very small few who stands up for what he believes in, and does what he feels is right. Whereas scum like you, Eaton, and any other of these big-wig companies, do what is best for the wallet.

One voice is small. 70,000 small voices is very, very loud. And I'd proudly shout out for a man who dedicates his time to provide information and community for others.

Thanks 4 Jaw .

JGK95 . . . . .

This is the exception to the rulez

This site is run by Jon. it is free for anyone to join & participate.

Jon is one of a few Hot Rod Industry's "civil ,criminal rights attorney " for a lack of better vocabulary on my part.

What ever monies come into HR.com I would bet the farm it does not cover the operating expense.

Now if you will notice there has been a bunch of defenses raised for a number of reasons.

#1 we protect & will fight for our Hot Rodding.

#2 Jon & the Mods do such a great job keeping most of the trolls out that when one does sneak in there is not enuf to go around.

Pretty much what you see is what you get HERE.

Now What Ole Jon does is his business just like everyone else here.

He can & has taken care of the legalese dumped in his road.

But to everyone else I think we can refrain from name calling & all that stuff.

Back to Turning wrenches boys & girls

Thanks Rob,

I'm all for Hot Rodding, just not some of the one sided "It's MY freedom of speech" BS that Jon likes to walk with. To clarify, I don't give a Rats Ahz about his personal life and posted twice to that effect for clarification, yet somehow my posts get pulled.

A Democracy this site, aint!

If he pulls coin for the site, more for the better. A site can't run on attaboys alone, so I completely understand.

Cool?

Jay K.
