I'm not big on th 4 x 4 stuff either Jessie
but from what i can tell its #2 of a dual transfer case set up
to doubly lower the gear ratios to do some serious slow off roading

like floor it & come back 10 minuets later after taking a dump & grabbing a beer

but while pulling a house

have you tried
www.pirate4x4.com ?

The seller gives a link to explain this further.
http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/doubler.htm

This will mount using an NP-205 transfer case, BUT this will allow you the added option of dropping down another 2 to 1 gear ratio, thus the name doubler.
This part of the NP-203 transfer case has no chain, so it is just as strong as the 205.

I have at least a half dozen of these laying around. Cheap and easy to come by.
