Alright guys/gals. I feel like I know my way around an engine fairly well now, but carbs are still a big mystery. I've read tons of threads on peoples problems on here and there's always big talk about using a vacuum gauge to tune it. Well, I don't have one yet (I know they are cheap, but my project isn't running yet and all the work I do is on my bro's truck), but I'm going to get one soon. My question is, will a "How to tune a holley" book tell me how to use this along with samples of what to look for while tuning ie:what to do when it's rich, and how to tell if it's lean? I'm pretty sure it would, but just thought I'd ask.
