quick question

i was looking at motortrend magazine and they did a comparo against the new camaro and a 1967 camaro SS350 now the new one does 0-60 in 6.1 seconds
and the quarter mile in 14.5 @ 97mph and the old one (better ) does 0-60 in 8.0 seconds and hits the quarter in 15.4 @90mph the 0-60 times are 1.9 seconds apart and the quarter times are .9 seconds apart does this mean that the old camaro is (almost) reining the new one in? oh that new camaro has a special 3.6 v6 similar to the cadillac versions

I think it is good that the V6 can run with the old V8,but I would never buy a new Camaro without a V8.Nothing sounds like a V8 except a V8.

Those 67 Camaro results were 67 vintage and tires have progressed tremendously since then. If we could compare apples to apples the 67 Camaro would open up an even greater lead, and it is a far better looking car to boot.

I didn't know that Chevy had a SS350 Camaro in 1967. Somebody correct me if I am wrong but didn't the 350 come out in 1968 and not until 1969 in a Camaro.

The 350 was first used in the Camaro in '67. In '68 it became used in other GM cars

That's correct; the 350 was a Camaro-only in 67.
