The float should be correct, the carb is brand new. I did plug the vaccum adv. and the timing still does the same thing. I think the problem is narrowed down pretty much to incorrect vaccum routing, float level, or vaccum leak. I tightened the intake manifold down according to the book instructions (order of tightening bolts) so that is why I am hesitant to believe that it's a vaccum leak. Is there anything else i'm leaving out?
