Quickchange Oil Leak on Model A Ford

I have a 1929 Model A Ford truck with a Halibrand quickchange rearend. It is leaking oil. I cannot find a parts illustration that shows whether there is a seal to prevent an oil leak. Would appreciate any feedback that would help me determine if there is actually a seal.
