QuietCar Sound deadener real or hype?

I HATE noisy cars... probably because I love long trips and after about 6 or 10 hours in the car the road noise looses its novelty and becomes obnoxious. Plus, I like to punctuate my Zeppelin CDs with Schubert string quartets, as the spirit moves me (ok, ok, I'm a music nerd...). So, a quiet car so I can hear the second violinist without blasting the stereo would be pretty nice.
My main question is: has anyone used QuietCar brand stuff? They make some pretty impressive claims on their website, and price (while not cheap) is better than dynamat or lizardskin. Just wondering if the stuff is actually any good. I'll post the website here, and if that is against the rules a moderator can delete it: http://www.quietcoat.com/ Their website has me intrigued, that is the main reason I started this thread.
If that stuff turns out to be a crock or no better than any of the other products out there, then what is my best option for "quiet per dollar?" I read the post on here about making up your own home-brewed lizard skin; is that stuff plus peel and stick roofing material the way to go?

Just another microshpere mixture claiming to be better than anything you can mix up at home. Only difference is their stuff will cost you two to three times as much.

Their website doesn't say anything about containing microspheres or ceramics, that is why I wondered if it was different/better. Actually, reading it now, it actually sounds more like rubberized undercoating or bedliner. I wonder if that type of material would have the same results?

The microsheres are probably contained in the product.

Here is a great link to some research that was done comparing various sound deading products:
