Quite a suprise.

I got quite a surprise when I got home night before last. The wife went and bought herself a little hot rod of her own. It is a 64 Chevy II station wagon. She has been wanting a wagon like this for the last few years. I couldn't be happier. She says she is going to work on it herself, but I think it will mean more work for me in the end.
She is really excited and is getting into it at full speed. There are catalogs on the way and she even asked me when the next swap meet was! Man am I lucky. Now the wife can enjoy the hobby as much as I do.

Excellent! Not many women seem to get into it with the enthusiasm as us guys. I hope she stays with it. N Nothing like two hot rodders in the family!

i bought labels for the drawers on the tool box,

and those stand up "hansen global socket organizers"

makes us work together much better, and she can help clean up now, and the tools are ready for the next job.

sounds cool, we need pics!

The best part is she bought the car and is going to fix it up with her own funds. I'll post some pics in the photo album when it comes home. I have to admit I never saw it coming.

I have to agree guys. There are boxes of parts sitting here that she has ordered already. The car isn't even due to arrive for a week! I think I have created a monster. In a good way of course.
