Rack Noise
Need a little help. Installing a CE IFS on my 54 Chevy Truck. It came with a Uni-Steer manual rack. I got everything mocked up. It is still up on stands. When I grab the rotor and turn rack left to right it sounds noisey. Almost, like a grinding noise. I called uni-steer tech line. And they told me the gears in the rack have to seat in. Should take about 400 miles. Can anyone tell me if it should make any noise? Just does not seem normal to me. Thinking about just ordering another new rack. But wanted to get someone elses opinion on this. Thanks!
