I have seen some 47-48-48 ford p/u's using ford ranger frames under them & they all had V8's in them. the problem w/the 73 f250 frame is its WIDEEEEE, where as the ranger frames are closer to the same width as your 50 ford, BUT they dont have rack n pinion streering, (unless the new ones do???) ...joe
