Rack and pinion is locked up

I am building a 50 F1 and have installed a mustang 2 front, I have it all together but the wheels won't turn. I know it's in the ball joints but why are they freezing up on me?

How did you come to the conclusion it's the ball joints? Does it turn at all in any direction? Have you jacked the wheels off the ground and tried it?

Rack and Pinion locked up

Have jacked it up and still won't turn. I just assumed it was the ball joints. I'm going to take it all apart and see what's wrong

I would think it is something in the geometry that is not right..try taking the rack off and moving it as it may need some spacers in the mount to get it to the right location..If the rack is not mounted correctly it can bind the steering.
