radiator cap

would a 19-21 lb. moroso radiator cap be too much for the street? or should i stay with the 16lb.?

What radiator, engine and such are you running? On a 50 Chevy you would blow the rad wide open because it wasn't designed for such pressures.

1988 ford e-350 econoline motor home with 460 engine. had a 13 lb. cap and always boiled over.

rad cap

i know of several instances were rad caps cause the heater core to blow. my local rad shop told me to never use more than a 12 lb cap. i use a 12 lb on my race car without any problems.
