Radiator Rod Supports ?

In gathering the parts of my 41 Chevy Coupe for reeassembly, the front end was off, it dawned on me that the radiator support rods are missing. Any ideas to solve the problem, assuming there is one, besides paying BIG bucks to replace them ? Getting ready to drop the engine in, so putting the front clip back on is not far behind. Thanx in advance for any help.

Are u talking about the rods that go from the radiator support to the firewall?

If so, on my truck I took measurements to my local bolt supplier and ordered some 3/8 stainless rod which they threaded on each end. I then fabbed up a new bracket on the radiator support. I also polished them with a polishing pad on a bench grinder. They turned out nice.

I think the cost was around $20-$30.
