Question rag joint

I have a 79 1/2 ton chevy front suspension on my 50 gmc pickup, getting ready to hook up the intermediate shaft to the 90 van steering column. I want to use a rag joint and I have a good one but it is on a shaft that was cut off. I know how to take it off of the steering box etc, I even know how to take the rag joint off of the fange but what I need help with is taking the flange that the rag joint attaches to off of the old shaft, I do not see any bolts holding it on the old shaft, is it pressed on and how do I get it off, second if that is not possible do they make a rag joint set up that would be usuable with a replacement shaft to match the steering column I have?

Thanks for any help, new to the forum have more questions than brains to answer them these days!

DH
