Rambo 4

So, there I was minding my own business when I found myself watching the new Rambo. I heard Michael Savages interview with Stallone so I decided to see it. I would have anyway, but it made me see it opening night. I went to my local Chili's and had a few cocktails while waiting for the movie to start.
It was fantastic. I entirely recommend it to all of you. It was bloody, but in an artistic and realistic way. I was cheering out loud many times in the main battle scenes. In fact everyone else was too. Grown women with their sons and all the young guys in the crowd cheered at the "American Style" justice being doled out. 50 caliber style. See it and you will agree. I have never seen a 50 caliber machine gun mounted on truck turret look so awesome. Anyways. It was not just the cocktails... Everyone walked out smiling and hi-fives were spreading like wildfire. Thats it...

re: Rambo 4

Thanks for the heads up.

I've just watched a movie called Outlaw starring Sean Bean, who's not the best actor in the world by any means, but the subject matter had me going & I couldn't help thinking how the world could do with a few guys like them.

Also enjoyed 3:10 To Yuma - best western I've caught for a while.

Saw it last week......Good movie, but a bit far fetched.........Why would the bandits go back into town after the robbery? I figured they wanted to get the posse out of town, so they could get the rest of the money from the bank and then take off. That didnt happen........and he stayed, which beats the heck out of me.

The ending was a bit overdone too..............

Sorry, if I spoiled it for anyone else...................

re: Rambo 4

I gained a whole new respect for Stallone yesterday when he called in to the Rush Limbaugh show. Never realized that he was a political conservative before. I always thought he was a typical Hollywood bleeding heart liberal. Nice to know the liberals haven't corrupted everyone out there.

re: Rambo 4

I am looking forward to that one. I went to Cloverfield last night. That was rough. Really good show but hard on the stomach.

re: Rambo 4

Cloverfield was hecka gay. I didnt mind the camera style, but the ending left me mad. 3:10 to Yuma was excellent. I was pretty upset at how it ended, but it was an excellent movie. One of my favorite in years.
