I don't know if this is the forum to post something random like this, but I just found this thing beautiful...would love to have a project of this caliber someday.

Yea im into european cars and hot rods and all kinds of stuff haha.. i have a bmw 325is that im in the process of turboing and a porsche 911 that im restoring.. you?

Beemdubya, what year is your 325?

I don't have one yet, but I'm looking for one as my main mode of transport to work and back. I like the older box shape, but most of them I see are quite worn and very high mileage. I'm also looking at the first of the E46's ('99), but they are still a bit pricey.

I'm building a '54 Chevy and I have a '61 VW Beetle, but I'm selling the VW so I can put a deposit down on a real car.

I didn't mean to come across so aggressively in my other posts about "the" only way to do things, I know there is often more than one way, I can get kind of worked up I guess.

Alden, you can have your thread back now, sorry to take over a bit.

What impresses me is the photo.
Nice job!

Was it a lucky shot or do you know some things about photography?

The exif data on the photo is not there so I couldn't read the camera type and settings.
