Randy

I got a 1984 944 tryna put a 350 or ls1 in it, bought the car later the engine started knocking, i wanted to add more horsepower knowing the 944 engines aren't what im looking for. If yiu know of a website or what parts are needed let me know thanks

I would consider using the V-8 from the 928.The power is fair,the 5 speed has no syncros for 1st gear. All in all though they are peppy. The engine is rated around 240 HP, torque is very good for a small engine.Its F.I. so the mileage is pretty good.Donor cars are not that expensive.
