'83-'85 rangers could come with manual steering, but I'm pretty sure '88 up only had power steering

1983-97 Rangers and 1980-90 F-Series trucks. When swapping between small and full size trucks, having to change the pitman arm is a given. Also between 4wd and 2wd versions.
Truthfully, you have the best chance of finding a manual box on the earliest Rangers. As years went on manual steering seems to have gotten rarer and rarer. I've only even seen manual steering on one 1980 F100, never on any other of the larger trucks.
