I guess I'm just anti-import. Period. I'm not worried about a little lead in a toy. I'm worried about how dependent we've become on other countries for EVERYTHING!
Whether the average person realizes it or not the simple fact is that we are already at the mercy of several foreign powers. OPEC for example could destroy us simply by shutting off the oil taps. Mexico even has leverage over us with the amount of produce that we import from them. China....well, how many things wouldn't we have access to if they decided to pull the plug? We're handing our future to outsiders. It's beyond stupid!
