Raptor 700 r4

I need a 700 r4 that can handle 450 plus H P. Performance Automotive and Transmission Center advertises that their Raptor transmissions can handle this H P, does anyone know of this company, good or bad? Thanks for your help.

I know

I have built 2 of the 700R4's with the Raptor kits. One of the trans is hooked to a 383 stroker motor in a 85 S-10 that the motor dynoed 415 hp on gas then a 150 hp nitrous kit was bolted on. It has been running for over a year on the street with
a few trips to the strip. That motor has just been replaced with a new roller motor making 472 hp with a 200 hp nitrous kit. The other trans was put behind a 355ci roller motor that never saw the dyno but runs very well as a daily driver. Both trans operate very well and the 4th gear overdrive is great when running down the hwy with the 4.11 rear gears. We did not use the hardened shafts or drum as they were not out at the time. The Trans Center people are the most helpful and knowledgeable trans people I have ever dealt with. I totally recommend them and their Raptor kit.
