Rat Pack

Well, not exactly an entire PACK, just my friend Jerry and I at a local car show today showing off our Primer Princesses. On the left is Jerry's '29 three window (the body is made from parts off two cars and a truck from two or three different years). He runs a 454. It's one of my favorite cars ever - just has "hot rod" written all over it. And on the right, the Rat on a Shoestring.

Actually Jerry's car is only a rat temporarily. He has plans to get it painted one of these days. (And just because he's been saying that for the past three years doesn't mean he won't actually go through with it at some point.)

Man everytime I see the rat on shoestring the front suspension catches my eye. It looks like an indy sytle open wheel suspension; just plain hot rod looking Glad to see its running so great and getting some mileage!

No. Jerry's coupe is actually quite unique and I doubt there is one exactly like it anywhere. I don't have the exact years and body styles committed to memory but I believe that from the cowl to the back of the doors its from a sedan body, then it was chopped off and a section from a model A pickup (including the rear window) was welded in, and then the rear trunk section from a coupe was added. Do you have a link to the one you are talking about?
